History:
Adams County Christian School
Adams County Christian School was founded as an independent,
interdenominational school in 1981. The founders believed that
children in this area should have the opportunity of obtaining a
quality academic education in a Christian environment.
The members of the Board of Directors are organized as a
non-profit corporation, which formulates school policy and is
responsible for the buildings and grounds.
The administration, faculty and staff are born-again Christians
and members of area churches. Faculty members are
credentialed by the State of Ohio.
The building, built in 1996, houses grades Kindergarten through
twelve. A multi-purpose gymnasium was built in 2004.
Adams County Christian School was charted in 1983. ACCS was
reevaluated in 1996 and found to be in compliance with state law.
